A few weeks ago I stumbled across (okay, okay, you caught me – clicked on something in my Facebook feed) an article about ways to make your bathroom cleaner than it’s ever been. I was intrigued because I’d read a few of the tips before, but some were completely new.
Inspired by the article, I went home and whipped up a homemade granite counter cleaner and completely scrubbed down my bathroom. One of the more disgusting chores I took on was cleaning my master bathroom exhaust fan.
It wasn’t as bad as I anticipated it would be, but it was still pretty unpleasant. Thanks to this nifty tutorial, I even felt like I knew what I was doing! And in the end, I had a sparkling, lint-free fan running even more efficiently than before.
That experience got me thinking…what other areas had I neglected to clean? That notion is what inspired me to write an article for The Forum about other places in the home people often forget to clean.
Don’t worry. As I confessed to a friend earlier this week after the story appeared in Sunday’s paper, I haven’t actually cleaned every area mentioned in the article. (Although researching the list did make me want to.)
